Food was cold and we waited for more then 30 MINS FOR OUR FOOD.
We had a great experience at Saltgrass yesterday for my wife's birthday. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. The portions were big so we only had to order 2 dishes and shared with our son. He loved the steak! We will be back!
Never written a review before, but I think I’m gonna start sharing my restaurant experiences from now on. We were sooooo disappointed in Saltgrass tonight. The wife and I take the boys to eat. The wanted Texas Roadhouse. We said “naw, let’s do Saltgrass cause they’re better.” It took 20 mins to be seated and it wasn’t busy at all. It was like they were doing rock, paper, scissors to see where we’d sit. I’m tryna push through this cause we are both exhausted. Beer came to the table warm. Salad came out warm. Andrew was our waiter and he was superb! Great food too—the brisket burger is huge!!
For about 8 months now the last 6 times my food is not correct or cold. At times my baked potato was not only cold but not even cooked . my salad came out after my main meal . 6 times my.meal has been.incorrect . VERY SAD .
Food is great...but, as someone who worked as a server and a bartender at Saltgrass 12+ years ago, the to-go/call-in situation at the Mesquite location is nothing short of a disappointment every time. The last 4 or 5 times I’ve called in an order, I’ve waited on hold for at least 8-10 minutes, at times longer, until someone comes on the line after being transferred by the hostess. I know the Saltgrass brand has higher expectations than what is displayed at this store...I understand busy but I also spent my 20’s in the servic... read more
