I went to 6 hairstylists over the past 4 years in Ames, and never found someone I clicked with until I went to Sierra at Salon Bonita. She listens to me, asks for feedback during my haircuts, and recommends styling techniques and products when I have questions. She’s the best! I’ve finally found my salon in Ames.
Salon Bonita is a great salon!! Kristen has cut/colored my hair since I’ve moved to Ames 8 years ago and I continued to go to her once she started at Salon Bonita. She always does an amazing job! I can let her do whatever she wants and it always looks great! Everyone at the salon is super friendly and great to be around!
I went to Salon Bonita about a week ago, and had my hair cut for the first time in two years, and it was a great experience. Stacey was very knowledgeable and did a great job transforming my hair. I was a little nervous about cutting it shorter and getting bangs, but she did an awesome job and was very skilled. It was well worth the money I spent. I would recommend her and the salon to any of my friends! :)

I love Salon Bonita!!! Amy has been doing my hair since 2005!! She is incredibly personable, funny and great to be around. Beyond her personality, she is so talented. Amy will always be honest about her thoughts on your hair, and won’t ever let you walk out of Salon Bonita unless you’re satisfied. Beyond Amy, the entire crew at the salon are fantastic. There is a vibe you will feel when you are at the salon. The vibe of fun, caring and friendship. Definitely if you are thinking about going there, I would say do it!!
