A lovely cottage in a beautiful setting. Amazing views of the sunrise and sunset over the mountains. Fantastic views of the lake. I would definitely stay here again. Fantastic location to visit Ambleside and Windermere. Coniston village is quaint, lovely local pubs with tasty food.
Our recent cottage stay found under a search of Sally's cottages was quite a disappointment and under the standards we would expect . We have followed this company from the beginning but as it is under the umbrella of a much larger company now we would be far more careful booking with them in the future. A review of the property was written on the format email from the main company which was sent to us but it seems not to have appeared anywhere. I cannot rate this company enough. Our stay in Keswick was fab, lovely clean, comfortable home - Wainrights House on Wordsworth Street. They came to sort the smoke alarm straight away when batteries ran out. The support we received, after our stay, has been fantastic. I accidentally had a parcel delivered to this address. They are the only company I have ever stayed with who went above and beyond to retrieve the parcel and post it to us.
