The doctor from the ER read me the incorrect CT scans and started telling me the scary treatment plan. It was the worst moment of my life being told my daughter had a massive brain bleed. Thankfully that was not the case but I kept (and continue to) relive that moment and it has caused me undue stress and anxiety. Patient had allergic reaction to sheets on day one. Four days later they sent him home with nothing to address the issue! The skin rash is still red like he just got the reaction. Did they continue to give him the same sheets? It is all over his back, down his leg and causes more pain than the surgery. The second thing that bothered me was that they brought him his dinner and before he could eat it they closed the lights on him. Since he couldn’t move much he either had to eat in the dark or not eat.
Awful communication in between the staff. Cardiac unit doesnt communicate at all and our family suffers their mistakes. Charge nurse and other nurses very unprofesional.
Sat in the waiting room for 2 1/2hrs waiting to hear how a surgery went (it was supposed to take 1 1/2hrs). Finally started inquiring...asked the lady that originally directed me into preop..she directed me to concierge who directed me to a completely different waiting area! Apparently surgery had been done for 45min, and since I was not in this other waiting area, I didn't get to talk to the dr and he left for the day! Top it off, no one seemed to care! This is messed up!
Your ER staff is completely unprofessional and if I could go back to Wednesday evening (4/4/18) I would retrieve the names of the nurses that were gossiping and laughing about an elderly patient and report you. It’s a shame that this hospital is not what it use to be and isn’t staffed with professionals that received a quality education and know how to treat patients, especially the elderly.
We are so grateful for the Interventional Radiologist doctors and nurses who are so great at what at what they do !! Hats off to Dr. Caci and and all the great nurses who made our day special given the circumstances !!
Pretty disappointed in the service this weekend. When I arrived to the E.R I had to wait for hours in the hall along with other sick patients. Asked personal information next to other patients. All that information should be discussed in a private room not for all ears to hear. I don't want everyone knowing my address, SSN, and other personal information. Then I was placed in a room with a bed with no sheets, then I was told I would have to go back and wait in the hall because there was someone coming in with an ambulance. A... read more
