I cancelled my a software with my account rep and sent multiple emails saying I wasn't satisfied with the software and wasn't renewing. I received a number of threatening calls and emails from Salesforce which I responded to to but never received a response back and now I am in collections dispute with them because I did not correctly cancel my service and they are trying to get me to pay for another entire year. omg....

Salesforce makes it impossible to cancel. I signed up with them 7+ years ago and we stopped using them several months back. I tried to find a place on their website to cancel and couldn't. I ******* it and found a number to call. It went to voicemail and no one called back for a day. Called again and again left a voicemail. Finally someone called back. They said because it was not signed up under my name, but someone else in the company, they had to talk to that person. Fortunately that person still works at our company. Whe... read more

I am getting ready to charge back my $300.00 after a solid week of attempting to get my account set up correctly. All I want is ONE USER. I had a free trial, was told by sales that I could not get the basic package through the free trial, lost all my data, had sales send me an online contract and charge my card for a year and I STILL CAN'T LOG INTO MY ACCOUNT! I just want to share my experience in working with Salesforce. As I have worked for multiple companies and took care of their Salesforce Instance, i have to say that Salesforce is really transparent in the communication and that most of the times the customers just did not really read the terms carefully and think that everything is gonna be fine. Salesforce has a great solution giving us always the right tools for our business needs.

What ever you do, do not use this company as your CRM. They lock you into contracts and if you are done with their service there is no getting out. We sold our company and had one year left on our 3 year contract they would not work with us to get out of it or pro-rate it for us. I guess ultimately it is our fault for signing a 3 year contract but companies like this trap you. They get their money whether you need their services or not. It is a travesty that companies and contracts like this exist. They make money regardless... read more

I have been working with Salesforce for almost 3 years. The reports of being held hostage are absolutely correct. I have been trying to downgrade to a different version and cannot get anyone to help me with this, all my Account Executive (AE) does is send me emails to links, I have tried calling billing, sales and everyone leads me back to my AE, whom I keep saying in not helping me. No one can cancel a contract or upgrade a contract but her and it will auto renew without you being able to stop it. This is the like the gym m... read more

This company would not activate my trial. I reached out to many representatives for help and have an email conversation showing their representative could not active my trial account. I gave up and asked for my money back in which they refunded me (this was October 2016). Then they call me (1 year later) stating I owe them for a years worth of service. I have never used their service because they couldn't activate it. I showed them the emails multiple times, they know I haven't use their service, and they still continue to c... read more

Salesforce.*** is a terrible company with which to do business. Startups in particular, STAY FAR AWAY FROM THEM. SF sold my company a contract that (at the time) represented a larger financial obligation than the company had raised in funding! They also included a clause saying that after 2 years, payments would become due annually rather than quarterly. I tried this companies free trial was contacted by an account representative who I informed that I was interested in purchasing the $25 a month CRM service that they provided. She said after the free trial to hit subscribe and that it would be very easy to purchase. After the free trial I went to purchase the $25 version but it would not let me.
