Raw fish, you say? Of course I want more! Sakana is easily one of the best sushi places I've visited in Indy. The sushi is fresh, well prepared, and beautifully presented. I'd give two thumbs up, just based on how well-plated the rolls are. Located in Castleton, Sakana is easily accessible from I-465 and is just a 5-minute drive from Castleton Square Mall. The food and service was outstanding.. From the simple fried rice to to more complex sushi.. thank you for having a great resturant which honors it's customers... note.. try the tempura Udon.. drool.
Love your restaurant. Best Sushi in town
Was trying out sushi restaurants in the area and this one really stood out to me. The rolls are delicious and made very well. But the service is what stood out the most. All of the employees were much friendlier than all the other sushi places in the area.
The food here is as excellent as the service. Enko was an excellent waiter, and was very knowledgeable about the menu.
Delicious food!! Also sushi is half-price on weekdays from 5p-6p, so you can't beat that! I've been here multiple times, and the sushi is consistently great. These are my favorites dishes:
Was in town for business and heard some great things about Sakana, so I gave it a try and was extremely impressed! The owner Bart is gave us a complimentary appetizer, and the tuna was super fresh. Playboy Roll was delicious as was the Big Daddy Roll - super filling, but worth the food baby.
The Snow Mountain roll is the tastiest sushi in all of Indy. The drink specials during the week were great! Definitely check this place out!
STILL the best tuna in Indy. Time after time. Fresh fish, great service, clean place!
