I have found a habit of right hand not knowing what left hand is doing . Communication and processing scheduled procedures is a joke. Also I absolutely made sure to tell the check in at all locations that my job insurance is primary and humana was then to be processed as secondary. After doing a set up for a heart monitor at patient check in the lady was skilled enough to go and correct the problem for me or it would have been processed wrong again. sacred heart is good with they people take real good care of them
Billing Department did not file my insurance correctly even though I showed them my cards and they supposedly took down the info. They still filed the wrong insurance and what a mess to straighten out. According to the person I talked to in the billing dept (who is not local) they get complaints about this often.
Wonderful great doctors and nurses
I will admit that I had previously posted an unfavorable review...This was due to the extreme 10 hour emergency room visit wait prior to admission. My dad is 86 and had to stay in the awful ER stretcher/bed for 10 hours. The charge nurse was not very nice. He did not have anything nice to say about the hospitalists and their response time. Tired, hungry and given few to no updates. However, once in a room upstairs...care was impeccable!! Doctors, nurses, techs took such great care of my dad!
