Hey Tough Guy – Been waiting for a slice for almost a year now. Can't wait to get back to Austin. If you're looking for a meal featuring really good pizza, pasta, sandwiches, salads or wings Saccones Pizza is the place.
Finally...Real Pizza!! – Saccone's succeeds in it's claim of having Pizza with a New Jersey Attitude. The decor, the guys behind the counter and the pizza they offer up, all fit the place like a glove. I lived in Upstate New York for 8 years, and can honestly say I'm not a big fan of "New York" style pizza. But Saccone's has succeeded in blending the best parts of New York style with other styles to make a great pizza.
Thick Crust? Fugetaboutit! – That's not entirely true...you could order the Sicilian crust and have enough to feed an army, but the standard is the thin crust, and it's delicious. I would also reccomend the Calzones.....YUM!
Try Saccone's, Crave Saccone's – One of the best in Austin! Fresh, tasty thin crust pizza. Blend of herbs and quality ingredients (sauce, cheese, bread) differentiate this from your typical pizza place. I wish they had one in central/NW Austin, but it is worth driving to the Lakeline Mall area, even with 183 traffic/construction :)
NY Pizza At It's Best – Super thin crust, great sauce and plenty of cheese. The Jersey brothers do it right!
Plain Cheese – The best pizza in Austin, hands down. My girlfriend and I drive 15 miles to get this pizza once a week. Dan and the crew are always friendly, the sauce is great, and the crust is just like you'd get in Jersey or Philly. Enjoy!
Just like home – My wife and I are originally from the Philadelphia area and were very excited to find a pizza shop as good as Saccone's down here in Texas. None of this sweet sauce like those run of the mill pizza places - Papa John's, Double Dave's, etc. They really do a wonderful job at Saccone's. We recommed it highly to anyone who knows what real pizza should taste like.
