My husband and I both go to Sabates Eye Center on 40hwy in Independence. My husband goes 1x a year but I go every 4 months. We both see Dr. Kevin Pikey and we think the world of him. I went to him before he was with Sabates in fact you could say I was his stalker. He left one location that I had begun seeing him and I followed him (from Lee's Summit) to Olathe and then have seen him ever since with Sabates so about 11yrs. Other than routine eye exams for wearing glasses, this was my first experience with an eye "problem." Scared to death and very nervous, I was referred to Dr Poulose. Detached Retina was the Diagnosis. Within a couple of hours I was in the Operating Room. I was thoroughly impressed with the care and professionalism I experienced. The only negative experience was at my follow-up at the St. Joseph Clinic. . . . Front Desk Woman could use an Attitude Adjustment.
I really like Sabates Eye Centers for my eye care. Dr. Cassell is friendly and competent. His staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I always tell people to try Sabates Eye Centers whenever I can.
I've had 2 separate eye surgeries in the last few years & both times have been at Sabates Eye Center & Epic Surgery Center, as in all surgery we had appointments before and of coarse follow up appointments. From the receptionist to Doctors, Nurses and all employees, I've been treated with exceptional and professional care. I would recommend Sabates Eye Centers to anyone. My Doctor is Abraham K. I have been going to the office on the Plaza for about 5 years. I drive from south of Harrisonville, Mo. I have never had a problem with that office. I see Dr. Desai, and I am so comfortable with her I would not go anywhere else or ask for any other doctor

Dr. Walline is my doctor and did a GREAT job with my eyes! I no longer have to wear contacts or glass. The entire staff at Sabates Eye Center have been wonderful, and the follow up visits have been quick and easy.
