I have been a long time patient but this year I have had a couple of specific issues. Not only was I placed in the care of the right doctor but I was treated with the utmost care and concern. The doctors and staff have given me calm and peace while my eye problems have been taken care of!
I was referred to Dr. Sabates by the VA Hospital. I'm so glad because my problem was solved in two visits. All my rechecks have been positive. Thank you VA for referring me to Dr. Sabates.
Just saw Dr Poulose yesterday for my diabetic retinopathy. He has done wonders with my sight!! Not only does he make me laugh,and makes me feel conformable everytime my husband, and I come in for appointments. The whole staff in the clinic are always friendly, and respectful. Sabates eye clinics also treats Veterans with the upmost respect! We would drive 2 hours if needed to. In my opinion they are the best anywhere, and that is the truth!!!
Had initial exam July 28th for new contacts. Dr. had to order lens for right eye and said it would be in Sept 7th..... called office Sept 12 and was told lens would not be in until Oct 11. Already had been over a month and I had NO Rx and NO CONTACT LENS... Requested a refund and after getting the runaround was finally called told by business office rep that she could refund only $80 of $130 paid at initial visit... Time to move on...... NO MORE SABATES
My husband has been going to Sabates for over a year now for diabetic retinopathy. He was on his way to going blind but because of Dr. Poulouse his vision is returned to almost normal. The care he has received has been phenominal and we are forever grateful. However, their billing department is another story. We have never received a bill for any of his visits and suddenly he is told he cannot receive his last set of injections because he has a past due balance and it must be paid on the day of his injection. I am so glad that I chose Dr. Nelson Sabates for a 2nd opinion in Jan. 2013. What a relief to receive such good care every time. I enjoy watching Sabates Moments on TV. My visual acuity recently improved to 20/40 and I was ecstatic. Dr. Nelson is the best and is an expert with the eye injections !
I had some serious eye problems, but have come to trust Nelson Sabates, He is just great at what he does. Sabates is the place that eye doctors go when they have eye problems. They are just that good ! ! !
