When most guys retire, they decide to take it easy, maybe play a little golf or something. Not Russ Salvatore—he built a contemporary restaurant and luxury hotel to run in his retirement. Salvatore, who has been in the restaurant business over 40 years, founded Salvatore's Italian Gardens and Salvatore's Grand Hotel, which he operated until his retirement. If you've never been to Russell's, you're missing one of the gems of the Buffalo area.From the moment you arrive, you sense the charm which is associated with Russell Salvatore. The service, food, staff, and atmosphere are all first class! No one does it better., Thank you Russell, and your entire staff..and for those that read this, no, I'm not a relative, but just another person that appreciates a great restaurant experience!
I was there on February 5, for my birthday and during the middle of dinner our waiter came up to our table and said someone in the restaurant had purchased our dinner and said Happy Birthday!! I would like to thank who ever that kind person was it made my Birthday!!! The food was Amazing and we will return for a future overnight stay and a meal.
