When most guys retire, they decide to take it easy, maybe play a little golf or something. Not Russ Salvatore—he built a contemporary restaurant and luxury hotel to run in his retirement. Salvatore, who has been in the restaurant business over 40 years, founded Salvatore's Italian Gardens and Salvatore's Grand Hotel, which he operated until his retirement. This was as good as the first time we ate there. It’s a drive from Erie but worth it
Usually a good experience, but this time I cannot say the same. It started at first with when I called to make my reservation. The hostess was very unfriendly on the phone, but who knows, we all have our days. Then when we got there for our reservation we were asked to take a buzzer and wait to be seated. It took 25 minutes to finally get a seat (even though I had a reservation). Russell himself was at the hostess area, but wasn't friendly towards us at all. Absolutely the best restaurant in WNY. Russ is the man and the staff is second to none!
Food was Delicious, our room was Amazing, and the service was Incredible. Would Definitely come back again, and would Highly recommend it to anyone!!
I recommend the 3 course meal!
We had a wonderful dinner. The food was perfect . Marissa was our server and saw to our every need. Her service surpassed every expectation. We would recommend Russell’s.
