When most guys retire, they decide to take it easy, maybe play a little golf or something. Not Russ Salvatore—he built a contemporary restaurant and luxury hotel to run in his retirement. Salvatore, who has been in the restaurant business over 40 years, founded Salvatore's Italian Gardens and Salvatore's Grand Hotel, which he operated until his retirement. The best dining experience I ever had. From the moment my husband and I arrived until we left, everything was wonderful; our seating; Andrew our waiter, and the food-I can’t say enough about the quality. Kudos to the chef. The food and presentation were perfect. We had to take some home.
