My family has been eating at Rush's since it's inception in 1949 (or maybe 1950). We are a FOUR GENERATION Rush's customer. My parents lived in a small house across the street from the original Rush's on Broad River Rd. They knew Mr. Rush as well. So now, my mother, me, my son, and my grandaughter eat there regularly. My whole family loves Rushes. We eat there as much as we can afford. I am a recovering cancer patient and their food doesn't interfere with treatments or my system like other "fast food" restaurants do. I enjoy sneaking in the food to the hospital and giving the nurses milkshakes. One time we went to the Rushes in Lexington by Target, It was me and my wife and 1 of our four kids. She fell and hit her head pretty bad. The manager stopped what he was doing and asked to help and then called us later that night to check on her. ... read more
We have to make a point to go to Rush's when we visit Columbia. Awesome food.
Milkshakes are great! BUT........ The ladies bathroom was NASTY!!!! Told the guy at the counter but he didn't seem too concerned.
