Right up there with Carolina football, Guignard park, little league, high school and church homecoming, "rivering," family reunions, date night, and family night, Rush's is a South Carolina tradition as long as I can remember. They have served up consistently great food over the years, especially slaw dogs, banana splits, fried chicken breast, sweet tea, burgers, chicken filet sandwiches, you name it.
I have been eating at Rush's for as long as I can remember. My first memories were at the original Rush's on Broad River back when it still had the old twirly seats. It has been my favorite local lunch spot for many years. About a year ago, around the time of the flood, y'all changed the buns you use to a more dense potato type bun. I can't stand it. They're thick and dry and hard and not the Rush's standard. I have almost stopped eating there. I wish you'd go back to the regular hamburger buns!
Disgusting food, the bread taste weird and the burger was horrible also the fries, my first and last time going ever.
