The Sunday Funday surprise Bloody Mary's are fantastic. We did this last week as well. Went up on balcony and service and view was terrific. Treat yourself and go.
Rundown has been our go to restaurant for years. Most years we go twice in a week. The food has always been excellent, this year, for my Birthday, was my pick. Few things went wrong. The fish bites were nothing but breaded crumbs, not like years past. I ordered fish tacos, one of my favorites. My fault I didn't ask what kind of fish that day. Best hidden treasure in OBX. Excellent and unique food and great beer. Nice atmosphere.
We went on one of the hottest nights of the summer to see one of the kids we know play on the upper deck. Sat down and were immediately handed ice water with lemon. There were 7 of us and the girls up there were friendly and attentive, constantly refilling out water cups. We had drinks and appetizers and both were excellent. It was my first time there and as a local, I'm a bit ashamed to say so! We will definitely be back. Especially outside on the deck.
