The idea of the Rundown cafe was born in 1993 from tropical travel adventures and a love for the fresh exciting foods of the Islands."Rundown" is the name of a coconut milk, fish chowder so named "Because Mon it run down so good." The food at Rundown Cafe is incredibly delicious. They offer unique blend of dishes with bright decor and a beautiful ocean view. The staff is friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend anyone in the Outer Banks try it out!

Very Good Salad with Coconut Shrimp. Good Service.
Started off on the Hula deck with a Chili Dog bloody Mary followed by piggy wiggly pork belly tacos. Excellent.
Grilled tuna taco platter was amazing. Nice view from the bar. The service was just OK, nothing to rave about. Platters best shared with another person as it was too much to eat.
