The idea of the Rundown cafe was born in 1993 from tropical travel adventures and a love for the fresh exciting foods of the Islands."Rundown" is the name of a coconut milk, fish chowder so named "Because Mon it run down so good." One of the best restaurants in OBX!! Rundown soup is must! We ordered a cup and had to get a 2nd! Fish bites appetizer was fantastic. Kids' meals and our dinner entrees were really great! Such a big assortment of tasty food! Would highly recommend!! Fun atmosphere, too!!

Some of the best food at OBX! Went early because my daughter has sensory issues, staff was friendly. Overall, great dinner!!
always looked forward to going there with family because we could enjoy burgers outside, but today we went after 4 , 4:30 and they said we couldn't eat out on the deck after 4 , but could eat inside 6 feet away.. We go for the ocean atmosphere and great burgers...but would not serve us while celebrating 2 birthdays.......if a place is willing to let you walk out, then you should....wont be back.
