The idea of the Rundown cafe was born in 1993 from tropical travel adventures and a love for the fresh exciting foods of the Islands."Rundown" is the name of a coconut milk, fish chowder so named "Because Mon it run down so good." This place is awesome. Great food, great staff and a great atmosphere. We ate outside on the crows nest like deck and had an awesome view of the ocean. Baja fish tacos and the buffalo crack dip were amazing! Definitely stop by you won't be disappointed

Had lunch yesterday and it had to be the best fried chicken I have ever eaten. It was accompanied by a large portion of garlic mashed potatoes, collards, gravy, and honey cornbread. It was all delicious!! The service was fast and friendly. A must for any trip to OBX. Don't forget to feed the fish.
