I went into Run Active in Upminster yesterday to get some new trainers. Something wasn’t right with my trusty Brooks, and it turned out they were too small. I’d been buying repeats of the same shoe for years and perhaps my feet have grown. That in itself was a revelation as had I not gone in, I would have made the same sizing mistake again and ignored the discomfort! I am doing the Marathon next year and was recommended to come here! David was amazing and gave great advice not just on trainers. In my gait analysis he also gave me some pointers on how I can improve my running. They were very patient and tried a few trainers to make sure I felt comfortable. I definitely recommend coming here if you want a great service and advice for your running needs!
Great advice on a running jacket and what waterproof socks to get
Visited the shop today for a gait assessment and to look for a pair of running shoes as I plan to run a half marathon next year. The owner of the shop was very helpful and had incredible knowledge of everything I needed. Thanks again!
