If you browse Rumsey on AirBNB, do not transact with this business. Rumsey actively allowed my AirBNB booking to lapse, only to re-list the exact same property for more money hours later. Rumsey actively promotes unethical conduct through price gouging. Thanks to the staff at Rumsey of Southbank, I am left with a useless AirBnb voucher and personally out of pocket. Thanks for stealing my money, what a solid bunch of upstanding people you are.
Stayed at Peninsula Court at the end of July 2025, a very pleasant place to stay. However, I wasn't given a parking permit, despite website saying parking is provided,......No mention of a parking permit.......and now i have a nice £170 PCN parking fine to pay. Luckily the Rental company paid it on my behalf. But please ensure you have a permit in view BEFORE leaving your car unoccupied on the premises. I left mine for only a few minutes. You have been warned !
Recently returned from a holiday at Beach Walk No 3. Our first booking at another property with Rumsey's was cancelled so we had to choose different accommodation. The full review given on the property we stayed at has not been shared on the website - only a very small part of the review..... the good bit! Rumsey staff went above and beyond our expectations when the flat we were supposed to be staying the lift was broken and as I am disabled they jumped into action find a property for us to be relocted to and they got us a wonderful bungalow. They didn't stop there they emptied of all our cases etc and put them into the place. They were so friendly and concerned about us and checked in us during the week. My children and grandchildren love Sandbanks. We recently returned from holidaying with Rumseys for the sixth year in a row. I have to say that the staff at Rumseys provide an excellent and friendly service and I would highly recommend booking with them. Terry Kelly, Leeds.
