I had great service from Rug Doctor. I have a home use Red Carpet model, with hand tool. The tool hose split shortly after letting a friend borrow it. Obviously he was very aggressive cleaning his vintage car carpet that came up amazingly well, the performance was exceptional for a home use machine. I tried to order a replacement hand tool however it was out of stock temporarily. If you want your carpet to stink of dog, then use rug doctor. And yes, I followed the instructions completely. You will need to clean the carpet again with a different brand that works.
I am usually happy with rug doctor but today was a disaster. I picked it up in Tesco Terboura way at Southampton and it was full of dogs hair. After cleaned the machine, I find out that it isn’t working properly as the water won’t spray out. I am very disappointed ☹️
