Dr. Schrot is a true GENIUS. I still have a lot of healing to do but I’m pretty sure he has given me my life back after five years of being bedridden from pain. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my spine. His staff is amazing and my stay at Sutter Medical Center was 10/10 from start to finish. I couldn’t recommend him more highly to anyone truly blessed enough to have him as an option for their surgeon.
I had Tarlov Cyst surgery in April 2025 with Dr. Schrot. He is one of only several neurosurgeons that do this surgery. He is thorough, listens, carefully explains the procedures and follows up after the surgery. Sutter Memorial Hospital was the best hospital experience I've had. Every need was quickly attended to, the staff was friendly and kind, and rooms are private. In my opinion, Dr. Schrot is the best choice for any type of sacral surgery
Dr Schrot is an amazing Neurosurgeon. He has done 3 of my surgeries and got me out of pain from a destroyed neck.
I was a Dr. Shrot fan, but this time was a total mess drug out over too much time for the end result. Waited 4 months to see him. Went through tons of imaging through him., including a Scoliosis X ray. Scheduled me for suregery and I waited 5 months... After months of seeing me. Last appointment he questions me about my Scoliosis Xray done by some other doctor (it was not) and that he did not see it until my then appt. and that he was not sure if he could do the surgery due to access.
