I’d had a history of childhood sunburns, was fair and had many moles taken off. I pointed out a mole that was small but black and asked that it be removed. Dr. Roth refused and said it was fine. I went back 6 months later, pointed it out again and was told it was ok. I insisted that he remove it. He resisted but finally took it off . He called 1 week later and said “ it’s malignant melanoma and I almost didn’t send it to the lab.” I had stage 1, level3. If I’d let it go, as he wanted, I’d be dead.
