The idea for Ruby’s Diner was born in 1980 after a run on the beach. Doug Cavanaugh had just returned to his native Southern California after successfully restoring and running a restaurant on Nantucket Island off Cape Cod. Server was S L O W but friendly. It got pretty frustrating
the food is good and the atmosphere is amazing as it overlooks the water
maybe they were just busy but poor experience. first time in a decade and it might be longer till my next visit.
