The idea for Ruby’s Diner was born in 1980 after a run on the beach. Doug Cavanaugh had just returned to his native Southern California after successfully restoring and running a restaurant on Nantucket Island off Cape Cod. I ate at the rubys diner at macaron airport in Las Vegas in Sunday April 26 2015 at 5 pm, ticket number 139 Not only was the service staff awful, I got food poisoning from the ruby burger within two hours of eating there This lead to me missing my flight home Sunday evening. I had to get a hotel by the airport (159 bucks) for the night since I was vomiting for hours, had to change my flight to the next day which cost me 429 bucks and lost an entire day of work because of it The least I can do to repay them for all of this ha... read more
Good food, but service was slow this time... usually pretty fast and friendly but this time we had to line the edge of our table with empty glasses for them to acknowledge us.
Best hamburger with bacon so far. To bad i live in Sweden.
The shakes are amazing! The kids lived them. The burgers are excellent. The view is unheard of. Amazing!
Worst night ever. Food was horrible. No Hamburg buns, no hot dog buns, no ranch, no avocado. What kind of burger joint runs out of buns. Hour wait to be seated, an hour to get our food, 30 minutes to speak to the manager. Avoid this place until they have a new manager.
Much to high calories and fats, super high carbs and fried foods are not for me.........:(

Can't beat the views!! Otherwise your standard burger & fries.. And yes, the panoramic ocean views makes up for the understaffed service. ENJOY!!
Very good diner food, excellent service (our server Dennis was awesome), terrific atmosphere and fabulous location.
