I had debulking surgery in 2019 and had a super caring team looking after me. Enjoyed the food and felt well cared for and supported. Overall treatment thereafter under the chemo unit during Covid was excellent
Absolutely awful. Traumatising not only my wife but this entire family with their negligence, delays, and half arsed behaviour. Awful. Will be contacting parliament directly about this awful unit.
So my mum hasn’t been herself at all the past year close to death a few times and the other week we got some good news that she can go in for her hysterectomy on Monday, so we both arrange with work so we can be there and hopefully get it sorted, last week one of the doctors rang and said it has to be pushed back because they have something, doesn’t tell us what it is and today she got a phone call to say it has all been cancelled so now my mum is asking herself why? I’m giving 5 stars to the wonderful healthcare professionals who saw me at this unit, especially the nurse who I spoke to and who discharged me. They were very professional and kind throughout my time there which was around 4.5 hours. The same could not be said for the ward clerk who could not appear less interested in helping me or doing his job. I was told I had an appointment at 10:10.
