Avoid it if you can. They've mixed up my scan dates. At PAU, my "consultant" didn't even check the gestational age or other risk factors in my records. Careless, lazy staff caused me a lot of stress. I'm going to change the hospital before the due date; I cannot trust them.
My advice to anyone under Consultant Care during maternity would be to avoid using Derby Royal. With my first child back in 2019, I cannot praise the staff enough as well as the service but having my second child in 2022 was a completely different story. Overall, the staff were fantastic but I was under the care of Dr Rowley who made the whole experience unenjoyable, distressing and most of the time I left feeling bullied by her.
