This bank will screw you over, predatory charges BEWARE!!! I didn't have insurance in my vehicle for 2 month by mistake (I moved at the same time and didn't get the notice there were missing that info) they charged me $1400 for 2 months of insurance. It cost less than that for 1 years worth of insurance. They add it to the loan and say too bad. Not sure what to think. I opened a new account. Was told funds would be available in 2 days. 2 days later it's there. Yay good job. So when I go to use it for a buisness purchase it gets removed. I've been waiting for 10 days. Lost $1000s in buisness so far and will lose 100s per day. Can I please have access to my money? Please? In this electronic age this is waaay too long to wait. Refinanced our home through RCU. Great experience. Our loan officer was super responsive and kept us up to date on everything that was happening.
As a member of almost 20 years, I am ashamed of what RCU has become. The recent decision to use advertisements on the same low level as the Prestige Kia ads is disgrace and an insult to what RCU has stood for since it's inception. These "gameshow / winning" ads are pathetic and make RCU look like a clown. RCU, stop. I do not know who told you this was a good idea or a good direction but it is not. This is not who you are or who you were.
Received a call this morning from Royal Credit Union to inform me that there were some attempts to use my card information in Georgia. Thank you guys for your prompt and efficient attention to this fraud attempt. I sincerely appreciate the customer service I've become accustom to!
As much as I like this bank now I'm just disappointed � they claim they are always willing to help you but that's not the case. I'm thinking about switching to a bank that is actually true to what they say
