Terrible *******************. We called them for a leaky toilet. They diagnosed it as a faulty flapper. Replaced the flapper but when we went to use the toilet water gushed out of base of bowl all over ** floor?? We tried to resolve with local manager who was disinterested in reviewing their techs work. So they left us with a big ****, non-operating toilet and an unyielding motivation to warn others regarding **********************.

In April shortly after my husband suddenly passed away, our sewer line blew. I called ********************** not realizing that I had a ********* policy for this. In their contract it says no landscaping. They left my yard a mess. One huge pile of dirt and rocks across the the lawn, from the road to the house. The men that did the work also cut our sprinkler hoses and just left them broken. They told me that they would only cut one branch from the tree in front. Called for a back-up kitchen sink. **** took exactly 46 minutes including getting tools out of van and putting tools back in van. Charge $472. That is $615.65 per hour for one person. Even my best lawyers do not charge this exorbitant amount of money per hour. Will never call them again.

Beware of these professional scammers! I called for a plumber another person showed up which I thought was the plumber and he was from their water restoration team that I wasnt aware of coming out. They never communicated with me about their water restoration team coming out besides the plumber!!!! So, this guy shows up saying they would need tear out my kitchen (which was just remodeled a couple years ago) and I had water damage on a completely dry floor and they had to call my insurance ********************** which put me ... read more

Roto Rooter charged exorbitant prices while providing me with poor diagnostic services. My house flooded three times this year. Roto Rooter misdiagnosed the problem and refused to take responsibility for their negligence. As a result, I spent thousands of dollars unnecessarily. I spent six months in a hotel awaiting home renovation completion because of Roto Rooters negligence.

Rather than tell you that they are booked up, they will give you a time for a technician to come out. Then part way into that time, you will get a phone call saying that they are running behind, because of some made up reason. I was in a bind and in that panic mode I called them as they were one of the first companies that popped up. We had a clog in our sewer main at 10 pm so they were the only people available to come out. After unclogging the pipe, they put a camera in to inspect. They told us the Sewer main was collapsed right at the foundation and we'd have to fix it immediately, for a total cost of $13,000. We chose to get other opinions. We had another plumber come and remove the pipe plug to see directly down the pipe, it was not broken or impeded in any way. THEY LIED ABOUT THE WHOLE THING - DO NOT USE THEM OR BELIEVE ANYTHING THEY SAY

We have had the worst experience with this company. They “fixed” and issue 5 months ago and it happened again and even though they warranty the job for 6 months they are not taking responsibility now. It’s going to cost more to mitigate the damage this time.

Working with Roto-Rooter has one of the worst experience of my life. I spent over $4,500 for them to fix my lift station's grinder pump. After purchasing two grinder pumps plus their service fee, the grinder pump keeps failing. During their last visit they revoked my service warranty instead owning that the solution (i.e., new pumps and services) they prescribed and I paid for doesn't work.
