Warning: Overpriced, Poor Technicians, and Dishonest with Insurance Claims I recently had an unfortunate experience with Roto-Rooter, and I must say I am deeply disappointed. The services provided by this company were subpar in multiple aspects. Firstly, their pricing was exorbitant. Trying to get a calcified hose off the connector and the pipe split. I had to shut the water off to my house so it made it a little bit of an emergency. But roto rooter came out and first quoted me $500 to fix it. Then got told they could do it for $400 plus parts. I never seen an itemized list for parts but it was $57 and change on the paper. If I could rate a zero I would. I had sprinkler pipes to burst in my home back in December. Someone from RR came out to "save the day." My neighbor and I had the same category of damage; however, we did not receive the same level of service. After communicating with management, a representative named Jesse came out and shared that he was proud of the job that was done. I property manage a daycare in Athens Al. I called Roto Rooter for a problem of the toilet not flushing. The temporarily fixed it for $688.00. The same issue happened within months, again the did the same for another $688.00. I called a local plumber he dug up the line which had roots fixed the problem for $1200. I would not use this company again and I want to warn others from being taken advantage of. *** *
