We had sewage in our bathtub due to a blockage in our sewer line. Our wonderful useless warrenty company never contacted us back to have a plumber come out and assist us. So, we called our only option “Roto-Rooter” our appointment was in between 6-8 PM, the plumber didn’t arrive until well after 8:00 pm. Forgot to mention we only have ONE bathroom. Scam!!! I called them because my pilot light kept going out. A man came tried twice to light it and said I needed a new water heater. Was not even at my house 5 minutes!! I called another company to get a second opinion and they cleaned my water heater and now it works fine. Roto tried to charge me $2300 for a new heater!

Scheduled an appointment through their website for them to come out to a commercial property to fixed backed up sewage. I then received an appointment confirmation email stating that a technician would be out in between 4pm and 6pm. I live 30mins away from my shop so I went to the shop at 4pm just in case the technician came at 4pm. I waited at my shop til 6:15pm(2hours). I gave up and went back home. What a completely horrible company. I called them last Thursday to set up an appointment to fix our toilets. They were supposed to be here between 10 am and 2 pm on Friday. They called around 11 and said they would be late. We received several calls from them throughout the day saying "we were the next appointment". Then they called and said the plumber would be here at 9 pm. At 9:30 pm they called again and said the plumber would be leaving his current job at 10:30 pm and would be at our house at 11:30 pm. Our 50 gal. water heater leaked and flooded the utility room, which is carpeted. Roto-Rooter's office staffer and on-site supervisor stated that they could replace the water heater and mitigate the water damage, including removing mold, damaged carpet and subfloor as needed. The water heater was replaced the day the call was made, June 7, 2021. On June 8 most of the carpet was removed, but wet carpet was left under the new water heater, washer, and dryer. They was very responsive, addressed the problem, and was told the work was gonna cost $8500 dollars, I had no choice do to a holiday weekend and couldn't use water due to my drain collapsed in my front yard and coming up my drain in basement which flooded basement, after work was done ,I found out from a plumbing contractor that that should of only cost $4200 at most for the scope of work. They took advantage of me in a vulnerable situation, they are complete rip offs.

on June 5th, I called for an appointment. I was told I was told between 7:30am & 9:30am I agreed to the appointment . There was an email but no confirming call so I called after 10am, only to be told that there were backup and could not be seen until another day. Yes I cancelled I felt that they should have contacted me about their scheduling problems, I would have respected that update. We had roto rooter come into our home on Monday May 24 2021. It took three techs and three different trips to find a blockage just before the street. Gave us a couple of quotes. We set it up for them to come into our home to clean it up. Which we hard already started to remove the carpet and had removed all the standing water. They said stop and they would clean and remove the affected area. They should up Sunday memorial day weekend. Stating that they couldn't haul away anything as the truck was full. If I can give 0 stars I would. I had their drain services last week and experience the same issue the day after, decided to rent a drain snake from *********and see if we have any lucks. Unfortunately, the drain is still clogged up. and decided to call the day after to ask if they have any warranties for their work. They told me normally don't give warranties for their work, and I have to call within 24 hours to see if I have any luck with the warranties. THAT just a lame excuse for not cover their work.
