We had a.motorhome pitch with electric. The site was tranquil, clean, quiet and had numerous beautiful settings to sit and relax. The toilets and showers were kept spotless. Very remote but perfect to relax
Rossendale holiday cottages didn't disapoint. We have just returned from a midweek 2 night break and stayed in the hideaway. This is located near some woods, a lake and a view of the hills. It was so quiet but I guess in peak season over the holidays it would be busy as its also near the motor home pitches and there's a children's play area. Nice little campsite, picturesque views and friendly staff, stayed for 1 night as a tourer with my son, was a Shame game room no longer open but a nice pub down the road(5 minutes walk) for pool and darts
Very well kept , quiet , communal fire pits … great !
I had to leave - couldn’t stay. No toilet roll in ladies or gents, I’m heavily pregnant & couldn’t last till the morning, need loo every couple of hours in the night. The main concern is that I called the ‘emergency number’ I was given with check in details, no answer & no reply - what if something serious had happened on site?
