Staff absolutely lovely. Uniform casual but fine for the job. They all have a caring attitude to residents but at the same time know when to be kind but firm. Have visited everyday for the past week at various times and always given warm welcome and updates on relatives health. Home is old and could do with decorative update, but again, rooms are spacious and comfortable. Bedrooms again are adequate as all residents encouraged wherever possible to get dressed and socialise and not restrict themselves to their rooms. Like man... read more
Lovely home...best in the area
Visited a family friend this afternoon, Friday 6th June 2018. The home is very drab, smells dreadful on entering and care staff appear scruffy. The two carers on duty then lifted one resident under the arms from her wheelchair into an easy chair. One of the carers wss moving tables round each resident ready for a drink. She caught one ladies foot with the table. The resident complained and the carer said "you have another one" Really appalled by this place.
