Every time I drop my car off to get an oil change I always get a hassle with them to get a ride back to get my car. I make the app at 8am they say 1 hr but when ask for a pickup at 11 get told I can’t guarantee it will be done ugg so frustrating. I don’t get off work til after they close �
Adam Tonkin and his team at Ron Tonkin Chevrolet sold my borther in law a 2010 Subaru Impreza as a pre inspected vehicle last year. Now not over 6 months and 2500 miles later the motor has a completely failed main bearing and the motor is done for. The dealership is completely denying any form of responsibility for the sales condition of the car even though the pre sale inspection noted no unusual wear and tear. Absolute worst Service department experience of any auto repair shop I've ever been to. Only positive is the parts department lady is friendly and seems knowledgeable. Under no circumstance should anyone do business with Ron Tonkin unless it's a desperate last resort!

While I got the car I wanted, had to have wheel repaired as chunks were taken out of it. Katie was the one who approved work but she must have been in a bad mood the day we showed up. Long story short, when my husband returned the following day, she all but called him a liar about returning loaner car without a full tank of gas. Thank you so much to Mike Sparks and the service team at Ron Tonkin Chevy in Portland! I took my Chevy Venture in for DEQ service as a CAPS participant through the DMV. Mike was AWESOME!! He was helpful, compassionate and understanding of my situation. I was able to take my van straight to DEQ when I picked it up and it passed! YEAH!!!! Thank you so much again, Mike Sparks.
