History Established in 2009. Rocky Mountain Dog Training was born after years of working with rescues and shelters to rehome dogs and a desire to address the major reason behind dogs finding themselves homeless, which is lack of training & socialization. We are dedicated to working with new puppies and their guardians to start out on the right foot and avoid some of the pitfalls that can occur without early training and socialization. The entire staff is incredibly helpful and willing to spend extra time with you individually answering any questions you may have. I took the level one course this spring and I am very happy with how well behaved my dog is. Looking forward to doing the level two course this fall!
We have nothing but AMAZING things to say about Julie and Rocky Mountain Dog Training! We took our energetic 1 1/2 year old boxer through the adult manners class, and he's a different dog 6 weeks later!! We are all calmer and happier. :) Julie is a great teacher and has such POSITIVE strategies to work with dogs. The weekly handout is super thorough and helpful. Julie is very realistic, and the amount of training each week was very manageable. We are so grateful and would recommend RMDT to anyone!
