Rocky Mountain Dog Training was born after years of working with rescues and shelters to rehome dogs and a desire to address the major reason behind dogs finding themselves homeless, which is lack of training & socialization. We had a great experience at puppy socialization meet-ups here and just graduated from puppy basic manners. Julie and Val are knowledgeable, caring, and break down training into easy to understand, manageable chunks (for humans and doggos). They also have a great space that minimizes distractions. If I was making a training choice again, I would 200% choose Rocky Mountain.
Our dog loves going to puppy day school. Or maybe he just likes Ms. Laura? Either way he is super excited and can't wait to get to the facility entrance every morning. We have been to the puppy socialization as well and he was so shy, but it seems like he isn't anymore. We just started puppy obedience classes as well and really learning a lot. Julie and Val are fabulous and do a great job of equipping the owners with positive techniques to work with the dogs in a way that makes sense for everyone. We learned so much and feel better about how to train our new fur baby Roo!!
I wasn’t sure of where to begin with my new pup, a timid rescue dog. Julie and Valerae were fantastic trainers and I feel I have the skills to keep us moving forward. 10 stars! ⭐️

I cannot express enough how amazing Rocky Mountain Dog Training is! After attending a few socialization sessions, we enrolled our pup in the ultimate puppy program in the puppy day school. Our girl was shy and skittish I was so worried how she would do. Laura and Val are the best! They tailored our pups program to fit her needs so she could be successful!
