Not sure what happened to medical care in the DC area but it seems to have taken a nose dive and this practice is no different. I asked for a test due to hormonal issues i was having. I was given a Pamphlet to read instead. Tbh, CHAT GPT was able to diagnose my issue and determine what work up I should take- I took that and went to my primary care. Sad state we're living in.
By far the best gyn appointment I've ever had! I lucked out with getting them right on the phone to schedule my first appointment 🤞🏽, so I must say from scheduling, to having blood drawn was a breeze. They moved so quickly I didn't even have a chance to complete my paperwork until the end. My name was called while I was checking in. However with that being said, I didn't feel rushed at all. I've had a great experience with Dr. Slate at this practice and feel like it warrants a review for others to read. During my annual, something popped up during the physical exam that wasn't normal for me. From that moment on, Dr. Slate has really stood out in her approach to my health. She ordered all the appropriate testing to ensure we had a clear understanding of what could be going on. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. And here is why: I called to schedule an appointment as a new patient and was told to register online and call back. I did as I was told, and spent half of my day, trying to call back. Their lines are always busy. I waited and waited, and then was disconnected. I do not understand the whole set up and the lack of interest from the staff to obtain new patients. Not sure if the management knows, but I will find another practice. This is not ok and not acceptable or normal.
Good providers but the office staff leaves a lot to be desired. Can hardly ever get anyone to answer the phone when I call and after being on hold for 5 minutes I get a message that the voicemail is full and it hangs up. Incredibly frustrating and I'm tempted to find another practice.
