The past 5 years I have spent a lot of time both in and out of the VA and I have always been treated with respect and good medical care.
It’s VA. Nuff said. VA motto. Lie deny until they die.
I feel as if the culture of this hospital is to never meet an appointment time. they asked me to come early and wait, thinking maybe I could be seen earlier. I am now 15 minutes PAST my appointment time, and still nothing. This is why I delay or do not make appointments at all. I once had an appointment, first one of the day and it was 30 minutes late.
I have gotten healthcare here for nearly three years. The care itself is good. Communication can still be problematic, but it is improving.

The care here is so outstanding! This particular VA Medical Center is one of the best in the nation and the "gold standard" for the rest of them.
Very friendly employees! Clean, always he well stocked food. The fried chicken is great.
