I am treated like a king when I'm there. I couldn't ask for more. I have been to civilian doctors and had to wait as long as an hour and a half after my appointment. That has never happened at the VA in Wichita.
Met with the American Legion Representative yesterday to file my initial claim. Cloyce Smith was the veterans rep I met with. I had my stuff together when I got there, dates of injuries, doctors, etc. This man is a pro. He did my claim for me. I have two more pieces to deliver to him and then the claim is filed. Not too busy, They got me in quickly and not much of a line in the pharmacy!
I've never had a bad incident at the VA. Everybody is always so helpful and willing to help. I'm there sometimes 3-4 times a week. Have had 2 hernia surgeries performs and the surgical team is awesome.
Had to go to the Emergency Room. Great nurse and PA!
I always get excellent treatment and very welcomed by staff and the dr's.
My father had surgery performed yesterday, and I couldn't have asked for better attitudes,courtesy, and professionalism. It didn't always use to be this way. I believe the Bob Dole V.A. hospital has made it their goal to perform as well as any hospital in the surrounding area, and have achieved that goal. I know a lot of people do nothing but complain about the services . Truth be they would complain no matter where they were being treated.
