I’ve never had an issue with this Surgery, but today I was unable to book an appointment until 3 weeks time! I think it’s ridiculous that anyone should have to wait that long to see a Doctor! Also to be told on the phone that they don’t think that the problem is not important enough to be seen sooner. Very disappointed.
Had nothing but first class service from this doctor's. Rang up at 2:20 pm and was seen by the doctor at 4:20pm on the same day. Receptionists and staff all pleasant and helpful.
After making a phone call today (29/01) at short notice and my first visit, I was offered an appointment first thing. From the receptionist on the phone, the receptionist behind the desk, to being seen by Dr. Metcalfe, my experience had been exceptional. The caring and personal approach by Dr. Metcalfe is often missing these days, so much so, that I feel this review was completely necessary.
Brilliant doctor's surgery, I rang this morning at 10.15, spoke to a very pleasant and helpful receptionist, explained I needed an urgent appointment re an infected toe after seeing pharmacist on King Street. She assured me someone would contact me, got a text straight back with an appointment at 11am. Saw Dr, prescription issued followed by seeing the nurse immediately afterwards.
