Place is a dump. I booked and was promised river view and they stick me on the back of the property in a room with parking lot view. Then I get moved to a different room with Mountain View. Don’t buy the Mountain View. It’s got 3 storage container back there and no real view. Rooms air also didn’t work. Come in the new room and it smells like moth balls and nursing room hallways. Another couple was complaining about the same problems. Seems like they promise everyone river view but then can’t deliver. I give this place 0 on ... read more
The rooms have a mildew smell to them and we found a few bugs in the room. The restaurant attached to the property has a very limited menu. The two positives location. to walk to main street and parking close to room. I will not be staying here again.
room 4140 is full of bugs roaches and worms the worst experience at a hotel I have ever had
Nice location. Easy access to trolleys and all of Gatlinburg
This hotel had centipedes crawling all over the floor. One was even crawling down my face in the middle of the night. This hotel was very outdated although convenient location to the strip. I would not recommend staying at this hotel.
The location is excellent. The view is nice. The people were friendly. It is dated. Our tub would not drain during a shower, but drained slowly once out. The tall floor lamp would not work so the lighting wasn't very good in the room. The biggest disappointment was the pool close to our room was not open, and the other pool was NOT heated. The price was decent, and even though we had a few hiccups we would stay again because it was so convenient.
Near all the sites to see near the stream so u can listen to the sound of the water flow just so peaceful
We had flies living in the overflow in the sink. I mean LOADS of them! Our refrigerator leaked water onto the floor also. When I told the front desk staff she simply shrugged her shoulders, said sorry to hear that, and then said "besides all that did you have a good stay?" Well as long as I was not at the resort I did....
I wish there was a do not recommend option. This hotel, and I use that term loosely, is way past it’s prime. Think of 1970s sheik but it has never been updated. The rooms were old and dirty! The old AC units in the parking lot were a nice touch though. The worst part is this is owned by Westgate resorts and we felt like we were mislead by the accommodations and had a hard time getting our money back. On top of it we had to stay at another hotel that cost us nearly double. But the money was well worth it!!!!
