BED BUGS!!! Me and my husband recently booked the resort for a two night getaway! We checked in on Monday and Tuesday morning my husband had THIRTEEN, yes 13 bed bug bites! We immediately packed up and went to the lobby for a refund! We were thankfully given our money back for the second night since we weren't going to be staying but with no apology, no "that's so awful, we will get that taken care of", nothing of the sort! The man that greeted us at the resort was the only pleasant thing about our stay. We originally were supposed to be in the Westgate resort in the mountains with a suite, I called back 2 minutes later to pay for it when they were holding it for us, and it was gone so they offer us River Terrace. This is our honeymoon so they said they would upgrade us to a suite with a spiral staircase. When we go to check in they tell us they gave away our room accidentally!!! RecommendedIt was our first time staying here, I was a little hesitant based on some reviews I’d read.. however the price and location was something we couldn’t pass up for our little last minute get away. We had nothing but a positive experience. The room was clean, the beds comfortable, the views beautiful.
