I would be very skeptical to make a reservation here. I spent 45 minutes on the phone 5 days ago, making reservations to stay here. Only after giving out all of my personal information including my financial information, I was charged for my reservation but told I didn't qualify because we had toured before (it was years ago). My account still doesn't have my money back. Westgate Resort has my money however, I have no reservation. Seems very unethical to me! RecommendedFor our 25th anniversary, we wanted to stay somewhere with easy access to Gatlinburg and it’s amenities. What we found was a wonderful, friendly, and caring staff at the River Terrace! They made our stay even better by presenting us with balloons, candy, a card signed by the staff, and a gift certificate to celebrate our milestone. We we were pleased with our room but the staff made our experience over the top!!!
Booked for a weekend family getaway..... checked in, got to the room and immediately started looking for another hotel with vacancies!!! This place is horribly disgusting. Had to stay there one night before getting into the Marriott for the rest of our stay. All clothes and shoes that were worn while in that room at the River Terrace were trashed. If you have booked here... Cancel and find anywhere to stay! Your car or camping under a bridge would be better then this place!
This hotel was very unacceptable I will never book here again. The rooms where nasty the bed I had was broke the walls where peeling the ceiling looked like it had been leaking the bathroom water pressure was not up to par. It took an hour to get into our rooms, after they had to move our rooms. The doors to the rooms you could hardly open and closed the blinds where broke the rooms are out dated and needs to be updated.
RecommendedWonderful place to stay, nice clean room, lovely views, and we got to see a bear right out our door, while terrifying it was neat! Will definitely be coming back!!

The rooms are very very dated for the price
I’m absolute dismay right now. Just checked in and the sink is dirty, a trash bag on the floor, a half full Taco Bell cup on the counter and best of all, fresh toenails in the carpet. Nowhere else to stay due to the holiday. I’m paying 300 per night for this. Awesome.
