Don't go there the rooms are out dated there was mold growing from the sprinkler system westgate sent us there probably done with westgate after this
My husband and I stayed at River Terrace October 21st. It was horrible and not worth the $80.00 I paid. The room was nothing like the picture. The bed sheets were so worn that you could see through them. We had nothing to sit on in the room. The picture showed a sofa in the room. The bath tub was so nasty that I did not take a shower. The alarm clock all night long sounded like it was going to short out. It was very bad and I would highly recommend staying somewhere else!

The One star is for them not lying about the location. This place was a total disappointment. It has everything from ANTS in the room to standing water in the tub during showers. Westgate resorts you really need to look at a departure with this location. Totally the meaning of false advertisement...

Yes, the hotel is dated-most hotels and resorts in Gatlinburg are somewhat older, especially if you are staying in the main drag. We have two teenage boys, so a spacious room was a must. And the room was huge in comparison to prior rooms where we have stayed. The staff was kind and helpful. We were allowed to park our vehicle on the property prior to check in. Only way to save this place is to tear it down and start over. Way out of date and lousy rooms. Decor and fixtures from sale bins at WalMart.
