Food and staff are amazing. I'm not sure how anyone could not be happy with either. The staff will go out of their way for you! And the grounds are beautiful!

Great views...terrible service from Todd in the dining room in particular. They have you held hostage a bit with limited dining options, a very high priced club area for five meals a day. Also weird that the mini bar is not stocked and there is no place on property to get basic nessesities. Too bad...spectacular views. Could be a world class spot with an attitude improvement and service upgrade. Call and ensure what is and is not open when you plan to stay as website is innacurate.

The hotel is location is great with awesome views. I have been to several Ritz Carlton hotels around the world and my experience has been great especially being a platinum member. So far this is the only property which has unfriendly management staff and absolutely non adjusting. Terrible service at the restaurant.

We have always enjoyed the Ritz in Half Moon Bay but this visit was a little dissapointing. The service outside has always been hit or miss, this time it was a miss. They never seem to have enough staff on. They now separate an area for hotel guests only as aposed to walk up guests. It seems that there was more help at the designated hotel guest area. As a non hotel guest you are spending the same amount of money for food and drinks plus parking, the service should be better. The have also raised the valet parking fee to $30... read more
