I had a knee replacement. At 6 months post surgery, I am pain free and walking, doing stairs and fully back to life. I was treated with respect, patience and given all the information that I needed to anticipate my getting ready for this surgery, having the surgery and recovering from the surgery. They could not have been nicer. My phone calls were ALWAYS returned promptly by his staff. I will eventually need my other knee done and I will definitely be working with Dr. Shah for it!
Dr. Ritesh Shah completed my total knee replacement in June of 2017. The time he spent with me prior to the surgery, explaining the procedure, my options and expected outcome was exceptional. He spoke to me in layman's terms along with showing me on film how he came to his conclusions. The procedure at the surgery center went smoothly and I credit that to the advance preparation and team approach at IBJI. My outcome to date has been great, and I highly recommend Dr. Shah as a surgeon.
Tremendous staff and doctor. The office is very efficient in seeing patients and providing quality service. Dr. Shah is a tremendous surgeon as he listened to what my exercise goals were for after surgery, and performed a procedure that has allowed me to return to an aggressive exercise routine within months of the surgery.
Dr Shah is very caring physician. His positive orthopedic approach helps me to go for Knee-Surgery. I am happy that I selected him as my orthopedic surgeon. I can definitely say visit Dr Shah for your Ortho problem before you decide anything. Post surgery care is very important and his team follows up for best results.
I liked the fact that Dr. Shah sends me emails almost every day reminding me of the things I am to expect. I got very positive feedback from the nurse at Glenview Terrace when she changed my original bandage to a new one. She was very impressed with the surgery. I was also very happy to see how the back of my leg ( I believe it's called the hamstrings) could almost reach the the bed when I put my leg flat on the bed. This means that my leg is NOT bent. It almost lays flat on the bed.
I would definitely recommend Dr. Shah to family and friends. In fact, I have already done so.
Dr Shah is compassionate and extremely competent. I would recommend him without hesitation for your orthopedic needs.
Having seen 4-5 doctors in the past few years for my hip replacements and now my knees, I feel very qualified in saying Dr. R. Shah is the best. He is very caring, calming and never rushed. He will guide you through your surgery and suggest what is best for you. For me it was to replace one knee at a time instead of two. His recommendation made sense, and two weeks out I am doing better than I ever imagined. I highly recommend Dr. R Shah.
Dr. Shah is a great Orthopedic surgeon, I was extremely happy at how quickly I recovered from my knee surgery. He was encouraging and put to rest all my concerns. His office is always quick to respond to questions and he is also available. Will recommend him to patients requiring knee surgery.
