This was my first visit and I left very impressed with the office staff as well as Dr. Chuang. I never sat waiting in the room for someone to show up. Since this was my first visit there were many questions asked and answered. I liked the efficiency of each staff member and Dr. Chuang met me and asked me questions and explained what would be done during this visit and she returned after all testing to tell me she had checked my Medicare records and she confirmed all the information. Dr Chuang has been our family doctor for 7 years and we absolutely love her! She is an excellent doctor and we are so glad we found her!
Dr. Chuang is rushed, does not listen, is dismissive, and, I fear, not well informed. Second visit worse than the first.
Can't even talk to anyone in the office. The office number says they don't make appointments on that line and the recording provides no info at all regarding billing. When I tried the phone number on my receipt it says no longer in service. This all happened during their hours of business. I tried my patient portal and got no where with that. I've had two visits to Dr. Chuang but intend to leave her when I become Medicare-eligible. I do not recommend her. She spent the bulk of my second visit, and much of my first, complaining about her workload. She made an error when ordering blood work, which means I have to have a second draw and pay a second co-pay to the lab. She will only address one 'issue' per office visit. Most doctors will prescribe a year's worth of maintenance drugs, but she limits prescriptions to six months.
Dr. Rita is the dr of record on a study that I am involved in and I met her today and she seems to be a kind and tender physician.
At first I thought she was pretty wonderful and helpful. Then I made an appointment because I had 2 issues I wanted to talk about. Well I see her and then I'm told after I'm done taking about the first issue, that if I need help with the second issues, I'll have to make another appointment. 1 issue per visit. This isn't taking care of the patient, this is about $$$and that's not right. Also they continually mess up my FMLA paperwork. I need l mean don't they swear an oath to take care?
My appointment with Dr. Rita Chuang was terrible!! When she came in the room to see me, she was in a rush. She was barely in the room with me for 3 minutes before she hurried out. I could barely tell her my symptoms before she gave me a diagnosis, which was wrong by the way. She was very short and rude to me and my wife. We were told by Dr. Rita that the water heater had broken and she was under a lot of stress! Our jaws dropped! She was more focused on the water heater than her patients!
Having recently moved to NV and in need of a primary care physician, I regretfully chose Dr. Chaung in order to receive a prescription for a medical device from LinCare. Dr. Chaung failed miserably at properly writing out a complete prescription in order to obtain my new medical device from Lincare. It is with deep regret that I feel this way and in need of writing a poor performance review. My original visit with Dr. Chaung was August 21st 2018, It is NOW October 5th! Still waiting!!!!
