Verified Renter So far the experience is good. Always parking near my unit. Even being close to a busy street. It’s not loud or an issue. You’re able to grill here which was the deciding factor for us to choose Ascend2300. The commute to Camp Pendleton is great as well.

Verified Renter I find it ridiculous that there is not assigned parking. Each apartment should have at least one assigned spot. People in the building across from my park in front of my building. I often come home late at night and cannot find a parking spot anywhere near my building. I feel for what we pay, each apt. should have at least one spot reserved for parking close to the building they reside in.

This is a huge benefit as parking is limit in Carlsbad and often times at an additional charge. Verified Renter It’s a great place to live,everyone is very friendly,The only thing that needs to be fixed is that the resident is give a warning before their loved one’s vehicle is towed

Verified Renter Grounds are not kept up. As often as we hear the gas blower at 7am, one would think the areas other than around the office and the pool would look better cared for.

Parking Tickets In Assigned Resident Parking You will get very expensive parking tickets from a private parking enforcement company for minor infractions. I got a ticket for $60 for having an expired registration (only expired by a month). The fee then doubled after 14 days. Other infractions that will give you a ticket: - parking backwards in a spot - guests will get tickets in guest parking unless you pre-register their car - not moving your car for 5 days
