This is the 2nd time my son has had Outpatient surgery here. The first time was on the 2nd floor from the main lobby. The 2nd time was yesterday at the ROC center. First the waiting room for surgery is so nice and has toys and movies to keep kids calm whole waiting to be called back. The staff were all amazing and the private rooms are all very nice and clean with TVs and toys. Recovery was fast and easy! Will always choose Riley!
My now 8 year old has been going to Riley hospital since he was less then a year old for numerous reason surrounding his condition which is CP. (due to a utero stroke)Seeing specialist from neurology ,psychology, Botox (form of neurology) physical and occupational therapy! We have been to Riley Hospital several times in the last 6 years but the last two times I have been horrible experiences but yesterday was the worst one of all. 1.) The hospital in the town we live in sent us up to Riley Hospital to get some test done on my 8 year old daughter. When we got there we was taken back into the room and I noticed there was blood on the bed on the wall and on the floor under the bed and I mean there was a puddle. Our son was transferred to Riley after suffering from intussusception. The five days we were there were made so much easier due to the caring nature of everyone we came in contact with. His surgical team, his medical team, the ER staff, and everyone in between. I wish I could hug and thank them each personally.�
I have never felt so stupid about my daughter being a self pay pt at your allergy clinic I felt degraded and embarrassed. We have always put our trust with our children's care at Riley and with its staff after being talked about like a criminal for not having insurance it would be my last choice for my childs care.
They always treat my boy right! Never had a complaint about them.
The reason we go to Rileys is not live threaten but we love the way the staff treats my daughter and myself.
Everyone from the help desk, to the nurses, to the doctors are so nice and caring. You can ask any question and you'll get an answer. So glad Indiana has a children's hospital of that caliber!!!
I do enjoy coming to Riley Children Health for my cochlear implant doctor appointment checkup. They have a nice environment and excellent foods at the cafeteria. I live an hour away from Indianapolis and enjoy taking the trip down to Riley one time a year for my cochlear implant checkup. The doctors do care about their patients.
